Sandi Phoenix

Sandi Phoenix
Sandi Phoenix is the founding director of Phoenix Support for Educators, dedicated to supporting educators, families, and communities to improve children’s wellbeing and inclusion. Under her leadership, the organisation has grown nationwide over more than a decade. Since starting her career in 1998, she has combined psychology and education through roles in coaching, mentoring, teaching, and consulting. Her work is grounded in a strengths-based approach and deep knowledge of the National Quality Framework. She also created The Phoenix Cups framework and is a sought-after keynote speaker known for practical, impactful training.
Claire Comedoy

Claire Comedoy
Clare Comedoy is a Pedagogical Leader and Early Education consultant known for her work with infants and for challenging educators to rethink taken-for-granted practice. Her work focuses on children’s rights, ethical decision-making, and the role photography plays in shaping how children are seen and understood. Clare finds joy in the collaborative dance between children and educators, where curiosity, creativity, and courage shape new possibilities for learning.
Workshop 1: Sensory Atelier

Sensory Atelier
Sensory Atelier nurtures the whole child through a holistic learning program where children feel supported, inspired, and free to learn at their own pace. Through gentle, purposeful play, children build confidence, creativity, and essential early skills in a small, caring environment. Their weekend Sensory Sessions offer themed adventures with crafts, sensory play, and opportunities to connect and make new friends. They also create tailored Sensory Parties, bringing each child’s favourite themes to life in a fun and nurturing setting. Combining early childhood expertise with a love of nature and play, Sensory Atelier inspires curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning.
Workshop 2: All Aboard Inclusion

Analise Vella
Analise Vella is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with over 10 years of experience supporting children and their families. She specialises in working across community settings such as preschools, early learning centres, and schools. Analise is passionate about play-based learning and creating joyful experiences that help children thrive. She takes a collaborative approach with educators and families, working together to remove barriers and build skills, while also strengthening teacher confidence and capacity along the way.
About the Workshop "Happy, Relaxed and Engaged: Universal Strategies for Tricky Moments in Early Learning"
This workshop focuses on supporting children through tricky moments across a typical day in an early learning setting using a child-centred approach. We will explore inclusive and compassionate strategies that support children’s regulation and skill development within the classroom.
Educators will unpack common barriers to inclusion, develop an understanding of the behaviour escalation cycle, and walk away with practical tools and strategies to support children across a range of common daily routines such as group time, rest time, transitions and more.
